Short Combat Accuracy Test (SCAT)
The Short Combat Accuracy Test (SCAT) was developed by Tom Givens of Rangemaster. It is designed to evaluate a shooter’s ability to deliver accurate, combat-effective fire at realistic self-defense distances. The drill tests your ability to shoot accurately at speed, incorporating draws, ready positions, dominant and non-dominant hand shooting, and transitions between targets at 5, 7, and 10 yards.

Fundamentals, Accuracy & Speed Test (FAST)
Founder of pistol-training.com, Todd Louis Green incorporated the F.A.S.T. Test as a standard in all of his classes. Though no weapons divisions were ever specifically created, the test was designed and established around compact, double-action carry guns — pistols most people find very difficult to shoot well.
