What To Expect
- Warm welcome – I’ll greet you with a friendly handshake when we meet.
- Liability waiver – You’ll sign the range’s liability waiver before we start shooting.
- Safety first – We’ll go over a safety briefing to make sure we’re on the same page.
- Equipment provided – Equipment is available, but feel free to bring your own gear if you’d like.
- Loud environment – The range can get quite busy, so anticipate it to be loud.
- Understanding first-timer nerves – The first few times at the range can be nerve-wracking, but I’ll be there to guide you through it. If it becomes too much, we can step outside for a break.
- Physical touch – At times, I may need to adjust your stance or grip, but I’ll make sure to explain what I’m doing and why.
- Fun and relaxed atmosphere – Above all, we’ll have fun and create a relaxed atmosphere where you can focus on improving your skill.
Frequently Asked Questions
What do I need to bring to the range?
For Ready, Aim, Learn bring any equipment you own, including your handgun that is in a case. If your handgun uses ammunition other than 9mm, please indicate during checkout.
Is previous experience necessary?
No prior experience is necessary. Both training sessions are designed for first-time shooters, and all necessary equipment and guidance will be provided to ensure a safe and enjoyable learning experience.
What type of firearms will I be shooting?
For Ready, Aim, Learn we’ll focus on familiarizing you with your own handgun (typically 9mm).
For First-Time Shooter, we’ll shoot a semi-automatic handgun (.22LR).
What is the age requirement for shooting at the range?
All shooters must be 18 or older.
Is there a dress code?
Yes. NO open-toed shoes. NO low cut shirts – wear appropriate attire to shield from hot shell casings.
What is the cost of shooting at the range?
When you go as my guest there is no additional cost to you – other than the fee for the session.
Can I bring my own firearms or do I have to rent firearms from the range?
You can bring your own firearms and it’s encouraged to bring your own handgun for the Ready, Aim, Learn session.
