Handgun Aptitude Test (HAT)
The creators of the Handgun Aptitude Test are Mike and Erin Pettengill, owners and operators of Personal Protection Academy. The HAT consists of 10 drills to evaluate handgun skills. Use the Hits / Misses buttons to mark outcomes. Time strings are added together — time bonuses apply automatically where specified. Maximum raw points = total number of shots across all drills; final capped at 100. Check the "No holster" box to apply a −10 penalty.
