Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how FTS Firearm Training ("FTS Firearm Training", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you visit ftsfirearmtraining.com, create an account, register for a class or event, purchase a product or membership, or otherwise interact with our services (the "Service").

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Information you provide directly: your name, email address, mailing address, phone number, billing and payment details, emergency contact, and any information you submit when you register for a class or event, create an account, purchase a product or membership, or contact us.
  • Information collected automatically: device, browser, and log data such as IP address, pages viewed, and the dates and times of your visits, gathered through cookies and similar technologies.
  • Information from third parties: information from our service providers, such as payment processors and identity or membership-verification partners, used to complete and confirm your transactions.

2. How We Use Information

We use your information to provide and improve the Service, process registrations and payments, schedule and deliver classes and appointments, send transactional and (where you have consented) informational messages, respond to your inquiries, comply with our legal obligations, and detect and prevent fraud and abuse.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as described below:

  • Service providers who act on our behalf, including website hosting, payment processing (Stripe), email delivery, and our SMS messaging provider (Twilio), each only to the extent needed to perform their services for us.
  • Spam and abuse prevention. Certain forms on our website are protected by Google reCAPTCHA to distinguish real visitors from automated abuse (see the Google reCAPTCHA section below).
  • Membership partners. If you enroll in a membership that includes a USCCA Elite Membership benefit, we share the personal information needed to activate that benefit with the USCCA, as described in our Terms and Conditions.
  • Legal and safety. With regulators, law enforcement, or other parties when required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our customers, staff, or the public.
  • Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

Mobile opt-in and SMS consent data are handled separately and are never shared for marketing purposes; see the Mobile Messaging section below.

4. Google reCAPTCHA

We use Google reCAPTCHA to protect certain forms on our website from spam and abuse. reCAPTCHA collects hardware and software information, such as device and application data, and sends it to Google for analysis to confirm that you are a real visitor and not a bot. Your use of reCAPTCHA is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

5. Cookies and Analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the Service is used. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings, although some features may not work properly without them.

6. Your Choices and Rights

You may review, update, or delete the information in your account at any time, or request a copy of your information, by emailing [email protected]. You may unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in any message, and you may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP (see Mobile Messaging below).

7. Data Retention and Security

We retain your information for as long as needed to provide the Service and to meet our legal, accounting, and reporting obligations. We use commercially reasonable safeguards to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can remove it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date and, where appropriate, communicated to you by email.

Google User Data

FTS Firearm Training offers an optional feature that lets you connect your Google Calendar so that bookings, classes, and appointments you manage with us are reflected on your calendar. If you choose to connect your Google account, we request access to the following Google data through Google's OAuth consent process:

  • Your Google Calendar (scope https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar), used to create, update, and delete calendar events that correspond to bookings, classes, and appointments you manage with us.
  • Your Google account email address (scope https://www.googleapis.com/auth/userinfo.email), used to identify which Google account is connected.

We access this data only to provide the calendar-synchronization feature described above. We store an encrypted Google refresh token and the email address of the connected account. We do not store the contents of your calendar, and we do not read calendar events that we did not create.

You may disconnect your Google Calendar at any time from within the application, or by revoking access at myaccount.google.com/permissions. When access is revoked, we delete the stored Google refresh token associated with your account.

Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data for advertising, we do not sell Google user data, we do not allow humans to read Google user data except as required for security purposes, to comply with applicable law, or where you have given affirmative consent, and we do not transfer Google user data except as necessary to provide or improve the calendar-synchronization feature, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger or acquisition.
